adventures in neverland

i woke up warm and perky. the sun was bursting in through the open windows. the room glowed, removing all signs of gloom that has nestled inside its four corners for the past few months.  the dreary weather has finally surrendered to the sun, and i was more than grateful. indeed, the cold, grey weather had been depressing that i felt like i aged a lot during the long winter months. my first thought was to head to the beach in idyllic sai kung or any other island away from the crowded central to enjoy a day in the sun. while taking a shower, i was already salivating over the scrumptious seafood and dim sum feast that awaits me. i decided to go to lamma island instead, a thirty minute ride by ferry. (i can't wait to stay under the revitalizing sun, feel the coarse sand under my feet). sai kung is just too far, a nearly an hour ride by bus. maybe next weekend? wearing above the knee shorts (i cut off one of my old jeans, the better way to welcum the summe...

what do you know? while we are all loving (or cursing) the scorching summer, a new gorgeous boy flew in to town not so unnoticed, mind you, to set stomachs aflutter, steal our picky  hearts,  and reduce all of us, fabulous members of the pink community, into a chorus of swooning teen-age girls who have just escaped the clutches of the overly strict catholic convent somewhere in the east of paris. his name? jeff langan. a veteran model at twenty one who had been shot by famous lensman for the fabulous set bruce webber for an ad for that sexy clothing brand a&f.  jeff breezed into town to get acquainted with the culture of the other half of his parents (ok. i'll make it simpler, he is half-filipino. i am guessing it's his mother who is from the philippines. the blogsphere is quite vague on this important piece of information. it's like giving us a gdp growth figure without saying from which period it is). according to the bench website (he has just been anointed b...
